Art and exhibition center behind the train station offering original and interesting contemporary exhibitions in Montpellier
This art and exhibition center suffers somewhat from its slightly off-center location, behind the train station, although only a ten-minute walk from it. The somewhat restricted opening hours do little to encourage greater attendance. Nevertheless, La Fenêtre always offers, on two levels, contemporary exhibitions (paintings, photos... etc.) that are original, interesting and sometimes quirky and funny. Gilles Caron, known for his photographs of the May '68 movement, had a short life. He died at the age of 30 while reporting from Cambodia on April 5, 1970, leaving a timeless and imperishable legacy in just five years of fame: social conflicts and battlefields were his subjects from De Gaulle to Pompidou, the general strike of May 68, the Six-Day War to Vietnam, Biafra and Northern Ireland. So don't hesitate to take a look around the site, where you'll often find some wonderful surprises!

Se veut un lieu simple, authentique et accessible, mais un vernis faux simple, aux relents bobos vient quelques peu pervertir ce concept... C'est dommage!
