An emblematic monument of the Écusson, Halles Castellane had lost some of its splendor in recent years. After several requests for renovation, they underwent extensive improvements in summer 2019. Like the Halles Laissac and the Halles des quatre saisons, the building is now more pleasant, brighter and more practical. The old, dark ceiling that was the wart of the place has now been replaced by a Mediterranean-style blue sky that blends perfectly with the market's cast-iron and glass architecture.

des halles en plein coeur de ville c'est vraiment rare et très pratique! On y trouve de tout, des fruits au légumes, boucherie, volaille et fleurs. L'endroit est agréable et bien situé et les vendeurs sympathiques.
