OMIJA
South Korea arrives in Montpellier! A little bit discovered by chance, Omija is a very small Asian grocery-caterer run by a super nice Korean woman who speaks to you in English, in French, in Japanese or in Korean... You just have to push the door to feel a change of scenery. The name omija which means the fruit with 5 tastes, because there are the sweet, the acid, the bitter, the salted and the prickly, perfectly reflects the spirit of the Korean cuisine. There is even a restaurant area: on the menu, Korean specialties like the bibimbap (BIBIM = a mix of organic seeds, green salad and 3 vegetables + BAP = rice), bulgogi, Salmon, Tuna and Kimchi-tchege, soju, Makkoli, Korean and Japanese Ramen, prepared in front of you, are all very fresh and very healthy. Here, the principle is that of the unique table, where you always make multicultural encounters. The store is worth the visit to refuel with Asian curries, sauces and pastas, Korean soups, infusions and teas, alcohol and even some Korean and Japanese frozen food. Ultimately, it is a cuisine to be discovered and so far unique in Montpellier!
