Le Panier du Pêcheur is an excellent fish and seafood restaurant, as well as a very popular sales outlet for lovers of iodized products. The restaurant's stocks are filled daily with the day's finds from the fish market. The fish arrive directly on the ice to be put on the trays and then on your plate. It is not rare to find early morning customers, who know that the best pieces go fast! Crustaceans, gambas, swordfish or even bass are bought at regular prices.

Une superbe adresse pour apprécier du poisson magnifiquement cuisiné. Un accueil et un personnel au top. On fréquente cet établissement depuis des années et on est toujours surpris par l’innovation des cartes. Certainement le meilleur restaurant de poisson à Montpellier.

My wife and I stumbled upon this gem when we visited in 2021. We are back and made a point of eating here. The menu is simple, only very fresh fish and the food is prepared expertly. The people are very friendly. This is where the locals in-the-know eat.

Really nice restaurant, the food is delicious and the chef is a great guy, I don't speak French but he helped me with my order, even explained how some of the foods were prepared. Definitely recommended if you like sea food.

Quel bonheur d'être acueillis avec le sourire par tous les membres du staff. C'est un très bon départ. Nous nous sommes régalées avec une entrée de gravelax tendre et assaisonnés parfaitement. Un peu d'acidité avec le citron, un peu de fraicheur avec l'aneth et un saumon bien frais. Comme plat principale on a pris le tartare de thon et le Cabillaud encore là nous n'étions pas déçu de notre choix. J'ai aussi aimé que ce soit servie avec une petite salade de lentilles. Bravo au chef pour ces supers plats.
