LA MAISON DES COCALIERES
For five generations, Sylvain Fadat's family has been working the vines to produce the most Mediterranean of drinks. The estate of this enthusiast, who has brought Carignan up to date, consists of two parcels. One is located at the foot of the medieval fortress overlooking the village of Montpeyroux, the other at an altitude of 350 m, in the locality called "Les Cocalières" To plant its land, Sylvain has chosen to select varieties adapted to the sometimes harsh climate of the Languedoc hinterland: mourvèdre, grenache, carignan, syrah, but also Roussane white, marsanne, white grenache or rolle. Among its most remarkable nectars, don't miss the Boda 2005, a distinguished, full and harmonious wine that combines the production of the two terroirs that make up the estate. Beautiful products, a passionate winegrower, and a committed ecological approach (the estate is indeed certified AB and Demeter).
