MOULIN DES CINQ RAMEAUX
Jean-Michel Cinq (hence the name of the oil mill) has 4 ha of olive trees, i.e. 1,000 trees including several varieties: picholine, olive, aglandau, bouteillan, verdale and cayon. Planted about ten years ago (only 6 years for some), they have not yet reached their full production. But it is in anticipation of the increase in the number of olives to be crushed that Jean-Michel Cinq has modernised his mill so that it can process 700 kg of olives per hour. Currently, he offers 4 oils: a "traditional" ripe fruity oil (where picholine dominates), and 3 monovarietal oils made from olive, aglandau and picholine. He also crushes the fruit of 300 suppliers, some of whom leave their oil for sale at the mill, as do the 60 local producers who supply him with wine, honey, jam or beer.
