This monument, accessible from the Place du Griffe via the Rue de la Vieille Tour, is located in the oldest part of the village, also known as the "quartier de la Villette". Nestled in the heights, the castrum has a closed layout, symbolized by a single circular street that surrounds the tower and its island. The quadrangular shape of the tower has long been hidden behind more recent constructions that were attached to it. When it was built, it was located in the middle of a 70-metre diameter farmyard.
