L'AROMATE
This trendy place of Palavas right bank contrasts with the pizzas and other brasucades of the left bank. Right bank, this place raises the level, rough wooden counter, flowered patio, terrace on the port where one is not squeezed like sardines in a tin and where it smells like a holiday in Provence, cicadas included. Large tables give the place a single motto: conviviality! L'Aromate, although friendly and natural, also wants to be distinguished, because Maxime, who is graduated from the Institut Paul Bocuse, has made his mark in beautiful starred houses, such as the Hôtel du Castellet, La Chassagnette... L'Aromate is the passion of spices and vegetables on the plate: as a starter bean salad, grilled sardine, tagine vegetables with lemon confit. A grandmother's kitchen, with dishes laid out on the table to be shared and pieces of fish to be eaten with family or friends. Rosemary entrecote, turbot roasted in Thai broth and many other dishes will delight the most gourmet stomachs.
