Racy, with its pure line and wide sail, the Latin sail or Catalan boat reigned for centuries all around the Big Blue, before the combustion engine came after the Second World War to sound the end of history. The end? Not quite. Because today, passion revives this mode of sailing through regattas and outings open to everyone, from the simple novice to the sailor and the enthusiast. Specific manoeuvres, thrills, the Latina Cup gives you the opportunity to discover the uniqueness of sailing aboard these traditional rigs. You will be surrounded by experienced skippers, known in the Mediterranean as specialists in the genre and for their total respect for ancestral techniques.

Considering that the restoration of old boats in poor condition and often plasticized by hand is long and very expensive, Latina Cup was able to reproduce from a mould and in three copies - called Yvonne, Aphrodite and Jeanine - the famous boat built by Louis Aversa in Sète in 1909, now owned by the city of Palavas-les-Flots. All three sail the old-fashioned way: only by sail and rowing!
