On an island, an 18th century military fort houses the Albert-Dubout Museum. The Ballestras Redoubt was dismantled stone by stone and reassembled in the centre of the pond. The museum contains the works of the famous draftsman and his particularly colourful caricatures. Attracted by Palavas as early as 1922, Albert Dubout had the gift of making the comic come out of any thing or situation. In addition to the drawings, the exhibition presents Dubout's personal objects (drawing table, pipe, correspondence with Pagnol and Dard...).

Très bon musée et l’exposition change tous les ans. La dame de l’accueil est très gentille et très charmante, elle nous a donné plein de détails sur l’histoire du musée et les peintures. C’était une expérience inoubliable. Je vous recommande :)

5 étoiles bien méritées pour ce petit musée de seulement 4 pièces. 5€ l'entrée et on a accès au deuxième musée du parc en plus. Les oeuvres sont originales et drôles, elles changent tous les ans. La dame de l'accueil est très gentille et passionnée par le sujet. Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas monter en haut du fort pour avoir une belle vie.
