DAVID DALICHOUX
David Dalichoux learned the mosaic craft in two stages: first at the Narbonne school, then in the capital of the discipline, Spilimbergo, a city north of Venice. The best worker in France in 1997 also inherited the know-how of three generations before him: his great-grandfather was already making cement tiles at the end of the 19th century. Based in Pézenas, David Dalichoux successfully perpetuates the family tradition by making unique mosaic pieces and cement tiles on demand, to measure. The craftsman uses Venice enamels, marble, glass paste to create murals inside or outside. He also imagines furniture - tables, mirrors, worktops - in many styles, ranging from baroque to classical to contemporary. In his factory, David Dalichoux also offers custom-made cement tiles, and creates patterns and colours according to his customers' needs, even for a single piece!
