Castle in Pézenas housing a gite with rooms with colorful names
The landscapes of Pézenas and its surroundings are punctuated by vestiges of another time, proof - if proof were needed - that the region has a rich history. The Château de Roquelune is one of these witnesses. Sheltered in the heart of century-old vines, it rises majestically in the middle of an impressive 6-hectare park. Former residence of Henry de Boudoul, Captain-Châtelain de Pézenas in the 17th century, the residence and its garden are now open to privatization and rental. On a very regular basis, sumptuous weddings and beautiful receptions are given there, mainly because of its dreamlike decor. They can be celebrated in the park, in the orangery, under the big top, near the swimming pool, around the water features: there are many solutions, all very charming. We can say that the castle's gîte and its capacity (20 people) are perfectly adapted to this type of occasion. In fact, it consists of a spacious entrance hall, a state of the art kitchen, two living rooms with a view, a dining room and ten bedrooms with rather colourful names.

En route pour l'Espagne, Pals a réservé 2 nuits à Roquelune ! Quel beau domaine ! Quelle tranquillité ! Bernard est un hôte incroyablement sympathique. Cela vaut la peine de répéter l'expérience, surtout pour une étape avant de continuer votre voyage.
