Every year in autumn, Pignan honours a very colourful local product, the olive, through a variety of events including a farmers' market in collaboration with Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole. A beautiful, lively and gourmet festival, which begins with a parade of the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Olive Tree, and continues all day long with the farmers' market where producers and craftsmen will make you taste and discover olives, olive oil and all the products derived from this characteristic fruit of the Mediterranean regions. In the afternoon you can even take part in a cooking workshop while the little ones enjoy puppet shows or pony rides.
