Just a stone's throw from the Thau Lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea, between Montpellier and Béziers, the family estate of Château du Pinet welcomes you to discover its vineyards and production. Recognised as the oldest estate in the Picpoul de Pinet appellation, it has been held for more than two centuries by the heirs of Toussaint Gaujal. They ensure from father to son the continuity of the tradition of its white wines. Note the "Château" cuvée, made from old vines, and the "les Oréades d'Hélios" cuvée, made from over-ripe picpoul.

I meet the owner of the winery, a very nice and very interesting Person. She told me a lot about winemaking and especially women making wine. And the picpoul is wonderful!
