In September, for a few days, the sky of Portiragnes is adorned with dozens of colours. They come from the multitude of kites that come to explore its space, led by the firm hands of the elite of European freestylers. They meet here for the Wind Festival, an opportunity to introduce the general public to the discipline of acrobatic piloting. On the beach, the curious will be able to watch competition events, discover manufacturing workshops, contemplate giant structures, team flights and artistic kites. And if they wish to be active during the event, the sports department will organise paddle, kayak and catamaran baptisms throughout the weekend.
