THE PRESBYTHERE
A Gothic-style presbytery in Poussan, renowned for its superb brushwork façade and geminated windows.
This Gothic style building was built between 1333 and 1343. Originally, it was a Benedictine priory. This building is the perfect representative of the 14th century Languedoc architecture. It became the presbytery of the parish in 1765, after its purchase by the municipality, and has survived the ravages of time. The monument has a superb facade in brushed apparatus and geminated windows. It has recently been proven that the building was rebuilt in the course of the 19th century, the facade was notably moved back a few meters.
