CHÂTEAU COUFRAN
The Domaine du Château Coufran belonged to the Marquis de Verthamon and then to the Célérier family. In 1924, it was acquired by Mr Louis Miailhe, who brings to the restoration of the vineyard the greatest care. Today, frequently described as pomerol du, the originality of the Coufran castle is part of the geography and the singular choice of its variety. The règes of its vines, almost exclusively of Merlot, climb the hindquarters in the mouth of the Gironde. The early of this grape is extremely dry, dry, and very well exposed. Thanks to a traditional ageing in oak barrels, Coufran Castle is synonymous with a fleshy, expanded, flexible wine with a touch of ripe fruit when still young. Thanks to its quality and excellent value for money, Château Coufran is one of the top peloton of upper bourgeois bourgeois. Château Coufran is also a member of the Bordeaux Wine Academy and the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux. A careful selection makes it possible to develop a second wine, La Rose-Ancre castle, which comes from a domain merged with that of Coufran.
