The Maison du Mouflon et du Caroux, located in the town of Rosis, is a must-see information center for nature lovers and hikers alike. Beneath the Marcel Cèbe communal gîte in Douch, this place resembles an Ali-Baba cave filled with documentation on the mythical mouflon animal, its biotope, the "Natura 2000" operation and hiking itineraries in the Haut Languedoc. There's also a mini-boutique selling special local products. Ophélie, the new manager of the Maison du Mouflon et du Caroux, is on hand to welcome visitors and help them find information. Since its creation by the commune of Rosis, the Maison du Mouflon et du Caroux has fulfilled its mission of informing and educating visitors about the ecosystems of the Caroux. It is also equipped with an interactive educational table, enabling visitors to discover the footprints of the animal species that frequent the Caroux.
