FONJUN NECK AND HORN ROCK
Visit the monument, which includes a living area where Saint-Chinian hermits once lived.
Following a path that starts in the village of Saint-Chinian, you will reach the top of the Col and can admire a superb panorama that encompasses the entire circus. Further on, on the road to Assignan, perched on the rock of the Horn, you will find the Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth chapel. The present monument was rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century and includes a habitable part where hermits used to live. In the past, in case of an epidemic, travellers were kept there in quarantine.
