In this charming 17th-century mansion on three levels, they recreate the past life of Saint-Guilhem. As santonniers, they create scenes and tableaux of village life, even exhibiting life-size santons. They'll show you the intricacies of the santonnier's delicate craft in their open studio. Don't miss the museum's adjoining tearoom, with its panoramic terrace.

Superbe village traversé part des ruisseaux pouvant devenir rivières au bord des gorges de l Hérault. La balade est agréable sur les traces de Guilhem l abbaye est magnifique avec son cloître,un petit musée gratuit permettant de comprendre l histoire de ce village. Une jolie place avec son arbre majestueux où l on peut se rafraîchir à la fontaine et se restaurer dans les établissements autour de l arbre et de la place . Il y a de nombreuses boutiques certaines des artisans d arts ou produits locaux les autres pour les touristes.
Pour accéder à ce village nous avons pris l option parking avec la navette qui nous amène au village pour 6€ très pratique car très peu de stationnement dans le village, et le parking est à côté de la plage du pont du Diable.

Excellente expérience à vivre avec le propriétaire, artisan, artiste, très gentil et passionné. Nous revenons chaque fois que nous passons dans la région. Son travail est époustouflant ! C'est vraiment un endroit qui vaut le détour en passant par ce charmant village historique et touristique.

Excellent corner of local history, with extremely helpful and friendly host, and a visit during which we discovered some really amazing pieces of art and authentic household items from hundreds of years ago. The model of the village, built by the host, with extreme accuracy, was the cherry on the top! Highly recommended stop for those visiting the area.
