This tabernacle, dating from the century, is a veritable treasure trove of ecclesiastical furnishings used to preserve the Eucharist.
Inside the chapel Saint-Géraud d'Aurillac, in the upper village, is an architectural treasure. It is a tabernacle dating from the middle of the 17th century of exceptional quality, which was admirably restored in 1978. It is made of gilded wood and is used to preserve the Eucharist. Connoisseurs will appreciate this real treasure of ecclesiastical furniture, in the pure tradition of Baroque art. The village of Saint-Guiraud shelters a second religious curiosity: the Black Virgin, located in the Notre-Dame-de-la-Vierge-Noire chapel, which was fitted out in the 17th and 18th centuries, becoming an important place of procession in the Hérault Valley.
