CHÂTEAU PALAIS CARDINAL
The history of the Château Palais Cardinal is rather interesting. Although the vineyard began in 1850, the origin of the name, "Palais Cardinal", dates back to the 14th century. It is thanks to the Texier family, whose work over the past ten years is to be commended, that the property has experienced unprecedented growth. The estate was acquired in May 2018 by SC Établissements Louis Ballande. A new page... The Château Palais Cardinal vineyard extends south of Saint-Émilion, over nearly 22 hectares (71% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc). The vat room and barrel cellars are worth a look, as you will discover innovative equipment. We will also explain how a latest generation trioptic table works. One goal: perfection! The visit will end in the most beautiful way, with a tasting with a panoramic view of the vineyard. Under the spell? So how about staying at the Cardinal's Logis?
