The workshop La lame de la vallée dorée-couteau Le Vernissé is a must for lovers of top-of-the-range handcrafted knives. Marcel Canals, the creator, makes a point of designing entirely French knives, using quality materials such as cade wood, olive wood, boxwood, holm oak and many others. The workshop also offers made-to-order creations, using exotic woods such as ebony or violet wood. Visitors can discover the knife collection and take part in demonstrations. For the more enthusiastic, it's even possible to make your own knife during a two-day training course.
