A park with rock gardens, a water mirror and an artificial swan lake in Saint-Jean-de-Védas.
Traces of the existence of this estate can be found in the registers since the 9th century, when it was used as a summer residence by the Bishops of Maguelone. Its history makes it one of the oldest estates in the Montpellier area. Its current setting is from the late 19th century, a time when English-style landscaped parks were flourishing. It was under this influence that Alfred Bouscaren, owner of the place and botanical lover, made various installations tinged with romanticism (rockery decorations, reflecting pool, swan lake...). Bought by the town hall in 1985, the park quickly experienced a second youth thanks to the associations that gave rhythm to its life.
