A ravine a few kilometers from Saint-Martin-de-Londres, one of Montpellier's favorite walks.
Just a few kilometers from Saint-Martin-de-Londres, in the direction of Ganges, the Ravin des Arcs is one of Montpellier's favorite walks, almost as popular as the ascent of Pic Saint-Loup. A signposted path follows a tributary of the Hérault, the Lamalou, down and down the slope until it's flush with the water, finally reaching a magnificent natural arch. The waters of the river have carved out arches and caves, carving out a path of sorts. You'll need hiking boots and water.
