Franck leaves regularly, armed with a basket and his camera -he was an iconographer in a Parisian newspaper- to snoop in the mountains of the Haut-Languedoc, in search of aromatic plants. He selects and picks them by hand, then transforms them into fragrant delights. Meadowsweet or elderberry jelly (with a very sweet taste between rose and lychee), herb salt (rosemary, laurel, thyme), bear garlic pesto are perfect to spread, to enhance a cheese, to coat a pancake, in short, to sublimate his dishes and desserts. We tested it, we loved it! Franck and his girlfriend Nancy also run a gite called le Paillet des Artistes for 2 to 4 people, a loft-type gite in a renovated old sheepfold, for holidays in the countryside in beautiful landscapes far from the crowds.
