Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh, local produce in a good value restaurant.

After proving himself in some fine establishments, Kevin decided to settle down at La Marine, where he welcomes us with good humor. Here, fresh produce takes pride of place. Philippe, his father, prepares and cooks fish and shellfish in the finest way. Mediterranean specialties abound: oysters au gratin with muscatel cream, fish and cuttlefish a la plancha, and chorizo crumble. The "Retour du marché" menu delighted us with its swordfish, sea bream, gambas and apricot-rhubarb gratin to finish.

(Traduit par Google) Nous avons trouvé que cela avait l'air charmant mais la nourriture était la pire que nous ayons eue en France depuis des années. Nous avons commandé du turbot pour la somme choquante de 34 € et tout ce que nous avons eu, c'est un petit poisson composé uniquement d'os, UNE fourchette pleine de poisson !!!! Les chips étaient détrempées aussi. Nous n'avons jamais eu un repas aussi épouvantable et le personnel l'a simplement ignoré. N'Y ALLEZ PAS ICI !!!!

We thought this looked lovely but the food was the worst we have had in France in years. We ordered Turbot for a shocking €34 and all we got was a tiny fish of just bones, ONE fork full of fish!!!! Chips were soggy too. We have never had such an appaling meal and the staff just shrugged it off. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

de passage à Sète pendant nos vacances, le Marie Jean était de loin le meilleur restaurant de notre séjour. produits frais, assaisonements parfaits, aimabilité du personnel, tout y était ! un grand bravo à toute l'équipe
