Restaurant located at the top of Mont Saint-Clair offering traditional Sète cuisine.

Here is a nice place perched on the top of Mont Saint-Clair. Away from the noise of the city, everything seems calm and soothing. Off the beaten track, the Safari has a certain charm. At noon, the restaurant offers traditional sète specialties whereas in the evening the cooks specialize themselves and serve all kinds of skewers: skewers of mussels, beef, lamb, duck breast, chicken, veal heart, chitterling sausage, veal liver, veal kidneys , sausages, merguez, pudding, and kefta. It is not really intentional and the service can be brutal but if you are looking for a stunnig view for lunch at noon, you will be served.

A fuir !

Minable! It's not a restaurant, but a guinguette! A zero reception even not good morning. We ate without light the flash of the phone! There is no card then for the appetizer orders blind without knowing the prices and for the meal it is a sheet where the skewers are listed and you work! You fill in the quantities you want. Prices… a skewer of sausage… it's a chipolata simply without spades… € 3.50 aie aïe aïe. So zero quality meat. The fries are served in a plastic bar. I'd really have eaten home better for cheaper. Disappointed we didn't take dessert. When paying the boss did not even raise your eyes. He cashed them out and told us good night, sir. Finally a sign of politeness but shame we were two women mother and daughter and in dress and pumped… he could not confuse one of us with a guy! LOL! So to avoid absolute. It's too bad because the place is top.
We waited 1:30 before being was, some of us one ends eating whereas others were still not served. After our menus choose tells us to the last moment that there is no more camembert, then more ratatouille... really service disappointed as water, wine and bread have had to be requested on several occasions. Was 9 had 8 seats, the ninth was never brought. Not great food (not cooked merguezes and kefta...).
