BAR DE L'ORIENT
Seasonal cuisine in a bar with terrace, close to the Sète ferry terminal, offering a view of the canal and the boats.
Located close to the maritime station, the Bar de l'Orient has kept this aspect of the neighbourhood bar with its regular clientele. For moviegoers, this is the bar of the movie Abdellatif Kechiche: The Secret of the Grain. Robert and Gilles have taken over the business for three years. Their brasserie formula offers a dish of the day. For example: grilled cuttlefish or swordfish, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and aioli, with a grilled meat, or a meal salad. The products of the market are simply cooked, we feel the quality in the plate. The terrace on the quay offers a beautiful view of the canal and the boats. The exhibition is perfect with sun at lunch time. It's quiet, we feel good. The reception service is very friendly and the is service is professional. A good address, no frills.
