350 stories of life in Sète, told by local residents with the help of archival documents, embody the memory of the town.
On September 30, 2023, the city of Sète celebrates its 350 years of existence with the anniversary of the ruling of the King's Council that gave birth to this beautiful community. For the occasion, the city is organizing a participatory exhibition to retrace these 350 years of history through the eyes of 350 native and adopted Sétois. Each person is invited to choose an archive document that echoes their own history and their attachment to Sète. The exhibition will thus bring together 350 stories that will reconstruct 350 years of history.
