THEATER OF THE SEA
A unique open-air theater with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop, presenting the greatest international artists.
A unique and splendid place dating from the 17th century, this open-air theater has the Mediterranean Sea as its backdrop. If originally it was the fort Saint-Pierre, it was transformed into a place of spectacles in the Sixties thanks to Jean Deschamps, great man of theater. Since then, the greatest international artists have performed on this magical and fascinating stage. In the summer, a multitude of concerts follow one another during the Sète festivals, promising great musical and artistic moments in an exceptional setting.
