THE SHORT END
This neighborhood is an iconic, picturesque and authentic place, once distinguished by its charming streets.
The emblematic district of the Short Point is a picturesque place not to be missed. In 1955, its charming streets were immortalized by Agnès Varda, a great lover of the Singular Island. Nowadays, the district is less animated but it has kept all its authenticity. Originally, the Pointe courte was made up of fishermen's huts made of odds and ends, boats, traps and fishing nets that dried in the sun. Today, only the houses have changed shape, but the smell of fresh fish remains.
