SAINT-BAUDILE CHURCH
This church has beautiful gilded wooden statues of Saint Roch and the Virgin.
The parish church is a beautiful gothic construction from the 14th century, restored around 1705 and nowadays. One can discover beautiful gilded wooden statues of Saint Roch and the Virgin, very beautiful paintings including a remarkable one of Saint Michael, gilded wooden reliquary busts, and a baptistery having kept the descent to a pool, with a very original statue of the baptism of Christ by Vidal. It is dedicated to Saint Baudile who evangelized the region of Nîmes. The bell tower was destroyed in 1912 by lightning and replaced by a bell tower.
