LES NUITS DEL CATET
This eclectic and rural festival now centred on Thézan-les-Béziers, in association with three other communes, Pailhès, Causses-et-Véran and Saint Nazaire-de-Ladarez, is celebrating its twentieth edition in 2020. Born of the will of the communes and their community of the time, Orb and Taurou, it almost disappeared three years ago, collateral victim of the new territorial organisation and a drastic reduction in subsidies. But about 200 militant spectators have taken up the torch and now organise this festival, which features theatre, classical music, jazz and circus. Jean Varela, director of the Printemps des Comédiens in Montpellier, is in charge of the programming and brings some of his artist friends to the Nuits del Catet
