To the family tradition - thirteen generations of winegrowers all the same - Jean-Benoît Cavalier has added the skills of agricultural engineer to Lascaux. He leads his 45 hectares with mastery. He draws from an intimate knowledge of the vines, in organic farming, the best of the Syrah, Grenache, Marsanne and other Roussannes that he follows on marls, clay-limestone soils and red soils. The cuvée Les Pierres d'Argent is a must to discover because it is of an astonishing complexity and finesse. Concerned about the expression of his terroirs, Jean-Benoît has recently elaborated three unique vintages: "Les Secrets de Lascaux", from three characteristic plots, La Madelaine, Bois de Tourtourel and Patus.
