DOMAINE DU POUJOL
In 1994, Kim and Robert Cripps decided to cultivate their vines in the light of the Languedoc sun, following a providential meeting with a Hérault winegrower. It is then necessary to awaken this sleeping land and redesign the vineyard. Robert Cripps' experience with the great Burgundian winegrowers has led him to produce elegant wines with great finesse. The Pico cuvée (white carignan and vermentino) old vines with white flower aromas, and the red wines La Bête Noire and Podio Alto express aromas of ripe fruit, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. An illustration of the quality of the estate's wines: the 100% Carignan blanc Vieilles Vignes, vintage 2016, received a silver medal at the 2018 Concours des Vignerons Indépendants de France.

Ma préférence va aux blancs et aux cépages d'origine italienne...
