THE CLOCK TOWER
Built in 1895, this superb 22 metre clock was partially restored in 1997. The work made it possible to restore the character of the site and to discover the presence of a well on site. From the top of the clock, the panorama leads to the Cévennes in the north, the ponds and La Grande-Motte in the south, and Castries Castle in the west. You can observe the life of the village and contemplate its environment. It is also a good point of view to admire the spire that crowns the monument, it is made of wrought iron and supports a bell and a weather vane that recall the bell tower of a church. This construction, which is unique in the region, is reminiscent for some of the northern belfries and for others of the Breton lighthouses.
