FÊTE DE LA SAINT-PIERRE
Go there and contact
A traditional festival that pays tribute to fishermen and sailors via Saint Peter, their patron saint. Between profane animations and religious processions.
On the last weekend in June, the town pays tribute for three days to the fishermen of yesterday and today: they are the town's origins and still contribute to its identity. Firmly rooted in the hearts of Valrassians, this festival features demonstrations and tastings of the local culinary specialty, the traditional cuttlefish stew, dance evenings, strolling shows, brass bands and peñas, but above all, the ceremony of remembrance, at sea, with the entire fleet of Valras fishermen. A must-see event!
