This estate owes its pretty name to the writer Henry de Montfred, when it was still an "end of the world". As if by osmosis, this rich soil, made up of marine sands (the vin de pays d'Oc part) and villafranchian gravel (AOC terrasses-de-béziers), passed on their love of vines. In 17 years, the owners have replanted more than three-quarters of the 25-hectare vineyard. It is mainly composed of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
