Bois des Aresquiers, offering a well-marked walk with easy access and organizing additional visits in summer
Les Aresquiers is a picturesque and exotic walk: a 9 km signposted trail takes you through the moorlands amidst the sansouires, dominated by saltbush vegetation, and strolls through the Bois des Aresquiers, a beautiful, typically Mediterranean pine forest set against the backdrop of the Gardiole massif. The walk is perfectly signposted and presents no difficulties for young and old alike. Allow just over two hours to complete the tour, and bring along a pair of binoculars, a water bottle and a cap.
