Village of copper age, Cambous offers the originality of these villages built in dry stone, installed on Jurassic limestone extensively cracked, what geologists call a lappiaz. Excavations have made it possible to discover tools in silex, in bones, many terracotta containers that make it possible to imagine intense culinary activity… The populations who settled there 5 000 years ago developed a way of farming and pastoral life that has been preserved until today. Site fermé alors que c'était bien notifié sur internet que cela ouvre à 15h honteux pas une explication le numéro de téléphone qui est indiqué ne répond pas c'est lamentable on se moque des touristes qui viennent de loin et surtout qui participent à l'entretien du site. Seul point positif 10 minutes de marche ça va le cadre et joli
