CASTLE DE LA CAZE
Castle become hotel-restaurant, representing the eight girls of Soubeyrane or the nymphs of the Tarn in the caissons of the ceiling
Built in 1488 for the Soubeyrane Alamand noblewoman, this castle combines defensive architecture with interior refinement. Its door, located in a large square tower, leads to a vaulted corridor paved with pebbles, from which a majestic side staircase rises. In one of the salons, the eight daughters of Soubeyrane, nicknamed the "nymphs of the Tarn", are depicted in the coffered ceiling. Converted into a hotel-restaurant at the end of the 19th century, this privately-owned château is only open to the public.
