In Bordeaux and the Gironde region, the LED Design group is developing 4 distinct but complementary business activities: LED Design Location, Bordeaux Bois Design... and Verre Glaçon! Managing Director Benoît Giannelli is a supplier of freshness!

Benoît, what is a supplier of freshness?

It's Verre Glaçon, of course! We've been making ice cubes and crushed ice for 3 years. Verre Glaçon is THE ice cube manufacturer in the region!

Why is it important to say so?

Firstly, because we're the only manufacturers in Gironde. Then, it's because we really want to work locally. And to take care of all the logistics! We deliver directly to our customers with our refrigerated vehicles, with no volume limits. We even have a rental service for storage (coolers, freezers and refrigerated display cases).

Who are your customers?

They are professionals in bars, restaurants, discotheques, hotels... Our clientele is very diversified, since we also work with caterers, supermarkets and hypermarkets, oyster farmers for oyster beds and wine cellars.

What about private customers?

Yes, especially for weddings! Verre Glaçon is also the freshness supplier for major sporting events and concerts at the Matmut Atlantique stadium.

So, what exactly do you make?

We make Gourmet ice cubes, nugget ice cubes and shot glasses. Compact and full-bodied, the Gourmet ice cube (20 g) refreshes drinks quickly and dilutes slowly. Smaller (5 g), the nugget ice cube replaces crushed ice. With three times the cooling capacity, it is particularly popular with mixologists. They are also used in champagne glasses. We guarantee the quality of our pure, filtered water.

What else do you offer?

Glaçon works with an ice sculptor. As a result, we can supply engraved champagne vases, ice bars and fully customizable ice decorations. Nothing is standardized!
