A monument to the students of the Lycée Montaigne in Bordeaux, who fell to enemy bullets on July 14, 1944.
This monument to the Martyrs of the South-West Resistance was erected in 1949 on the site of the Richemont farm, in memory of the 13 young students or former students of the Lycée Montaigne in Bordeaux, most of whom fell victim to enemy fire on July 14, 1944. Their mission was to slow the German advance towards Normandy. The faces of this 35 m high obelisk symbolize Faith, Courage, Sacrifice and Victory.

C'est un mémorial qui rappelle le massacre de la ferme de Richemont le 14 juillet 1944, lors duquel 13 résistants perdirent la vie. Le site est un peu isolé mais il vaut vraiment le détour.
