Beautiful guest rooms in a renovated former wine château, with outdoor pool and spacious living areas.

Magalie and Stéphane, who live on site, welcome you to their charming chambres d'hôtes. Alternatively, they can provide self-catering accommodation for 12 to 17 people. The property is an old wine château. The couple have completely renovated it in keeping with its past. The kitchen is in the old wine storehouse, and the dining room is in the old barn... Guests have access to a kitchen and can enjoy the swimming pool and whirlpool (extra charge).

Still great in June 2023. The chateau is a very well restored and converted old winery - it's lovely to behold. Rooms are relatively small, so not much unpacking, but neat and artistic. Jump in the pool after the day's bike journey. Dinner is tricky on Sunday and Monday evenings when the village restaurants are mostly closed or booked out - best to contact Magalie ahead of time to get the latest info. The google maps address (9 Lieu dit) is not the front gate - that's on Les Granges / Au Bourrassat. Continental breakfast is baguettes (plain and chocolate), breads (several), jams (several), teas (several) and coffee. Ask Magalie ahead of time for your preferred breakfast choices and I'm sure she'll make it happen.
Bike parking is in a locked garage.

Les chambres sont joliment décorées, l'environnement est très sympa. Le spa intérieur est très appréciable. Magalie nous accueille avec un grand sourire. Quant au petit-déjeuner, très copieux, et je ne parle pas des gaufres.

Le problème quand on a séjourné aux Sequoias c'est qu'on sait qu'on aura grand peine à trouver aussi bien...
Le lieu est magique et les hôtes sont des amours. Par où commencer ? Tout d'abord l'accueil, convivial, discret et efficace. Le domaine, tout est beau, confortable, soigné, aménagé avec un goût exquis, un vrai havre de paix, un plaisir de tous les instants. Le petit déjeuner, du jamais vu! Magalie choie ses invités avec une incroyable gentillesse et une attention à chaque détail. Nous avons adoré découvrir la région bordelaise depuis ce point de départ stratégique et sur les très bons conseils de Magalie qui n'hésite jamais à partager ses bon plans et à nous recommander de véritables pépites. Mention particulière à Stéphane, l'alter ego de notre hôtesse qui complète à la perfection ce duo angélique. Gros big up à vous 2!!!
