Péninsule de Médocaine sur la Vélodyssée
From Soulac-sur-Mer, an 8.6-kilometre cycle path (one hour) winds its way up the peninsula to Vernon.
La Vélodyssée (1,400 km) is a cycling route that links England to Portugal along the Atlantic coast of France. It can of course be segmented into different stages, including the Medoc peninsula. Starting in Soulac-sur-Mer, an 8.6 km bike path leads up the peninsula to Vernon. From there, you can turn around or take a shuttle to visit the Cordouan lighthouse, 68 meters high, which watches over the mouth of the Gironde.
