A walking tour of the old village to discover the 500 villas built in Soulac between 1860 and 1940.
The uniqueness and beauty of Soulac's neo-colonial villas bear witness to the village's long history. There are around 500 of them. The largest, mostly located on the coastal fringe of the village, were built between 1860 and 1890. Those of the second period, smaller and more numerous, appeared in the form of housing estates between 1890 and 1920. The last of these were built in series on the same architectural basis between 1920 and 1940. Find out more.
