In the Gironde, it's a particularly impressive phenomenon, a delight for surfers and spectators alike. There are several places to observe it. The banks of Langoiran or Cadillac, the bridge at Cubzac-les-Ponts, even the quays of Bordeaux... But the best spot is the little port of Saint-Pardon, in the commune of Vayres.
