MUSEUM LA GRANGE DU PATRIMOINE
Modern, bright and ecological building, bordering the pine forest, Grange du Patrimoine offers an outstanding permanent exhibition of over 100,000 years of Médoc history. The highlight of this embodiment is a computer graphics animation on the big screen which reproduces the evolution of Médoc from the time of mammoths until today. The central area includes six showcases of rare archaeological pieces, accompanied by interpretive panels and sound entertainment. Along the walls is a 14 metres timeline ruler reproducing Medoc's heyday. Eight panels describe the climatic changes of the past, the current warming, the 1999 storm, Médoc geology and coastal erosion, not forgetting Médoc flora presented in Occitan language and French. To see as many times as possible!
