A pretty village whose secrets and wonders can be discovered in a history museum at the entrance to Turenne's main street.

A brochure provided by the tourist office will guide you through this magnificent medieval village. At the entrance to the main street, a museum recounts the history of the town and that of the Viscount de Turenne, allowing you to discover the secrets and wonders of the village. Towards the hilltop, the Calvaire tower is a reminder of the3rd wall. The fortified gateway leads into the2nd, where you'll find the Seneschal's house and the Capuchin chapel (exhibitions). From the esplanade surrounding the limestone cliff, a bench with a superb view invites contemplation.

Turenne is a beautiful village.
At the entrance of the city, I went to the Tourist Office where I was well welcomed. I was given a brochure that allowed us to visit the village following a very friendly itinerary that told on the history of the city. At the entrance of the main street a museum tells the history of the city and the Viscount of Turenne.
